About this Project

This 1-bedroom condo in North Vancouver got a major kitchen upgrade. The client had a vision in mind; a warm and inviting space with a modern-farmhouse aesthetic. Partnering up with Grenor Homes allowed the project to go from vision to fruition.

Layout-Kitchen:

Smaller spaces and smart storage solutions are best friends in this kitchen. Mounting the cabinets to the ceiling highlighted the 9’ ceilings and carefully thought-out millwork ensured every item had its place with built-in accessories, open shelving, and even a glass cabinet to display the finer things in life. Adding shallow storage on the back of the peninsula (under the overhang) efficiently increased the overall depth of the countertop which extends into the dining room.

The materials brought this kitchen to life! As they sayit’s all in the details.
While mostly white, the different textures and shapes made this kitchen fit the aesthetic. There were 2 different door styles used, both detailed but still minimal in ornamentation. A dark grey grout contrasts against the white subway tile. The woodgrain laminate by Tafisa compliments the subtle brown vein that runs through the Frosty Carinna countertops by Caesarstone. Bronze elements in the handles and light fixtures, as well as the white Silgrant sink by Blanco, bring an added layer of warmth.
