About this Project
Our clients on Beverly Crescent recently purchased a 100 year old home with plenty of character andcharm. We were excited to collaborate with Laura Agnew Designs to help them update and upgrade thehome for modern living. With expertise, we were able tobring this century-old home into the 21stcentury while preserving its original charm.
In the Kitchen& Pantry: Removing the fireplace allowed us to create a large island with plenty of seating, convenient storage, aprep sink and even a bar fridge. The kitchen’s perimeterremained the same yet improved cabinet storage. We achieved an efficient foodprep zone, convenient food storageandeasy clean-up.The old mudroomwasreplaced with an open pantrya space toprep smoothies, juices, andmake coffee.Dedicated storage forvitamins/supplementstorage,features likethe undermountedcompost bin,Kangenfiltrationmachine, and a refrigerated drawer, accommodate the family’s lifestyle
Primary Bedroom–Walk-in Closet: We took over the main bathroom that was adjacent to the Primarybedroomtoturn it into a large walk-incloset. This new space is now complete with pull out racks for hanging pants, short and long hang forgarments, valet rods on his and her side, shoe & purse storage. The island has narrow drawers for theirsmall accessories and deeper drawers for garments that are meant to be folded.
New Main Bathroom: Atimelesscolour combination of white and black marble tiles, rift cut oak cabinets in a dark stainandbrass plumbing fixtures. In the steam shower we introduced a large ledge instead of ashowerniche, two rain heads that are flushwith the tiled ceiling and a heated bench seat. There’s ample storage from the medicine cabinets that areset in the wall, the tall medicine cabinet left of the vanity. The vanity is well utilized with drawers belowthe sinks.A big shut out to Laura Agnew Designs for working with us on this fun project and GH Homes LTD forbringing our vision to life. For more tips and tricks on storage, design & trends follow us on Instagram!
